TO QUALIFY: Must have experience with electronic health records (EPIC Clarity), medical claims and medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD10 PCS), CMS and other Federal and state healthcare data repositories (DMHC, DHCAI, HCUP/AHRQ, etc.)

Looking for Data Scientists with experience in using data from electronic health records (EPIC Clarity), familiarity with medical claims and medical coding (CPT, HCPCS, ICD10 PCS), CMS and other Federal and state healthcare data repositories (DMHC, DHCAI, HCUP/AHRQ, etc.)

Location: Fully Remote/Work from Home - Must be local to Pasadena, CA for occasional onsite meetings – NO EXCEPTIONS

Duration: 12+months with potential for extension or conversion to FTE.

Pay rate: $80/hr on W2

No C2C, H1B, 1099, TN Visa, F1 - CPT or OPT at this time.

REQUIRED:

10+ years of related experience required.

Systems Experience Required: R, Python, SQL

Systems Experience Highly Preferred: Epic, Clarity, Oracle Exadata, SSIS, Azure, Tableau, Power BI

Expertise in statistical analysis - Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.

Experience working with and creating data architectures.

Experience with various machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages and drawbacks.

Experience with advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.

Experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models.

Experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.

Education: Master's Degree required - Master’s or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field required.
