Business Intelligence Analyst

We re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, insightful, creative, and experienced analyst with a proven ability to deliver value through analytics.

We are based in Austin, TX, but this position is 100% remote.

What That Means

You will play a key role in the team responsible for approximately half of the company s leads and our conversions, which is amongst our most important drivers of revenue. You will achieve this by making a meaningful contribution towards improving our ability to predict operational outcomes, increasing awareness of what's truly important to our success, articulating insights, and culturally promoting data-driven decision-making with regards to how we operate our business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with our SVP of Product and Marketing or SVP of Network Partnerships
• Determine predictive features of business success, align them with behaviors, and make optimization recommendations
• Make business, operational, and pricing recommendations based on data analysis and optimization exercises
• Analyze data from a variety of sources and produce actionable business insights
• Pull in data from multiple sources - collect, review and mine the data, looking for patterns to make the business more profitable
• Build reports and visualizations for stakeholders highlighting so-what s in actionable terms
• Provide intelligence gleaned from experiments and operational adjustments
• Collaborate across multiple teams, including our network of developers and product managers

What You ll Need

• 5+ years of experience working as an analyst, and a proven track record of adding value through analytics
• Clear understanding of the partners you work with, demonstrating a translation of immediate requirements that takes stakeholder-specific subject matter nuances into account
• Demonstration and articulation of when/how you added value for business units
• Advanced capabilities of digging into data at various stages of readiness using SQL and/or Python
• Advanced ability to communicate observations from the data with visualization applications (Tableau, Salesforce, Domo is a plus but not required)
• Strong grasp on statistical concepts with experience putting them into practice
• Experience defining, running and analyzing experiments or tests
• Aptitude for going beyond the data: understanding how a business runs and what drives profit
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
• Creative problem-solving mindset
• Well-rounded technological capability (SQL, Tableau, Python, Atlassian, Excel and/or Google Sheets, and Salesforce experience a plus)
• Added bonus if you have experience developing in dbt
