We are seeking a dedicated and customer centric HR Administrative Assistant with 2-3 years of experience supporting an HR Manager. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing HR-related communications, including Leaves administration. This role involves direct interaction with employees and clients, requiring exceptional customer service skills to address inquiries and concerns effectively.

This is a remote position. Ideal candidates will be in the Southeastern United States and available to work during East Coast hours.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Director and the HR team.
  • Manage the HR and Leaves inbox, including responding to employee inquiries and routing messages to the appropriate personnel in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in preparing HR-related reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Help plan and execute events and training sessions.
  • Perform other general administrative duties as needed.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Address all communications with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Required to practice discretion and confidentiality with all HR matters and inquiries.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment law, HR Certification is a bonus.

Education & Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience supporting an HR Manager or higher within an HR department.
  • Experience with leave administration and familiarity with FMLA and other relevant regulations.

Pay Range

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $19.16 - $28.70 per hour
