Our expanding Disaster Management division is forming an exceptional team to provide expert advisory services, leveraging our proven track record and a hands-on, multidisciplinary approach. Our Disaster Management division collaborates with government agencies and communities to develop and implement policies and programs that enhance disaster resilience and support long-term recovery in housing, economic revitalization, and infrastructure. We specialize in program management, technical assistance, training, performance measurement and evaluation, website development, and adult learning. Our clients include HUD, HHS, and USDA, among others. We frequently work alongside ICF experts on issues such as energy efficiency, green building, infrastructure, disaster planning and recovery, financial literacy, and job training. All our work is conducted in a professional, collegial, and intellectually stimulating environment that encourages individuals to pursue their passions and achieve results.

ICF is currently hiring a Project Specialist to support Senior Project Specialists and sub-recipients in implementing FEMA Public Assistance Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide disaster recovery and grant monitoring services for FEMA Public Assistance Programs and other federal programs.
  • Support disaster recovery program design and implementation, as well as pre-disaster risk mitigation measures.
  • Process monthly progress reports, quarterly reports, and database updates.
  • Assist with collecting and processing damage data, invoices, estimates, and documentation requests from FEMA, GOHSEP, and/or sub-recipients.


Basic Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Business, Public Policy, or other related field.


Preferred Qualification:

  • Two or more years of experience in administrative, accounting, or insurance-related work, or enrollment in the ICF Internship Program.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is :

$43,899.00 - $74,629.00
