Job Description:

As an Endur Functional Test Resource, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of Endur, a specialized Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) software solution. You will play a critical role in validating the functionality and performance of the system to meet the specific needs of the energy and oil/gas trading industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Functional Testing:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to verify the functionality of Endur ETRM software.
• Identify and document defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and design test scenarios.
• Analyze test results to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.

• ETRM Domain Expertise:

• Possess a strong understanding of energy and oil/gas trading processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Apply domain knowledge to effectively test Endur's features and capabilities in a real-world context.

• Test Case Development:

• Create detailed and well-structured test cases based on functional specifications and user requirements.
• Ensure test cases cover a wide range of scenarios to validate system functionality thoroughly.

• Defect Tracking and Management:

• Log and track defects using a defect tracking tool.
• Work closely with development teams to resolve defects and ensure timely fixes.

• Test Data Management:

• Manage and maintain test data sets to support testing activities.
• Ensure data quality and accuracy to ensure reliable test results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Functional Testing Experience: Proven experience in functional testing methodologies and techniques.
• ETRM Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of Endur ETRM software and its applications in the energy and oil/gas trading industry.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze test results and identify potential issues.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate testing.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification: Relevant certifications in software testing or ETRM domain knowledge.
• Experience with Automation: Experience in automating test cases using tools like Selenium or HP UFT.
• Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing techniques and tools.
