Photo Stylist

Location: Hershey, Pennsylvania

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $35 - 45 per hour

We are seeking a talented Photo Stylist to join our client's dynamic creative team!

As a Photo Stylist, you will collaborate closely with photographers, chefs, and the marketing team to produce visually stunning food photography that highlights our client's products. The ideal candidate has a passion for food styling, a keen eye for detail, and a creative approach to visual storytelling.

Responsibilities:

• Style and arrange food and props to create visually appealing food photography for print, digital, and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with photographers, chefs, and the marketing team to ensure a cohesive and visually engaging look for all food photography.
• Conceptualize and execute creative ideas for photoshoots, ensuring products are presented at their best.
• Select and organize props, backgrounds, and other visual elements for food shoots.
• Maintain a well-organized library of props for future use, ensuring all items are readily available and in good condition.
• Stay up-to-date with food styling trends and ensure our photography reflects current trends and aligns with the brand’s aesthetic.
• Assist in set preparation and clean-up after shoots.
• Ensure consistency in styling across various projects while adhering to brand guidelines.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Art, Design, Culinary, or Marketing) preferred but not required.
• 2-4 years of experience in food styling, photography, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a food stylist, with a strong portfolio showcasing food photography styling work.
• Strong knowledge of food presentation, composition, and color theory.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a keen attention to detail.
• Knowledge of current food trends and a passion for creative food styling.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience working in food and beverage industries.
• Understanding of photography, lighting, and digital media.
• Experience styling food for various platforms (social media, print, e-commerce).
