Salary Range: $94,900 - $142,300 per annum
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Legal & Administrative Consultant to join our clients litigation and investigative practice area supporting the Public Sector. This role involves providing comprehensive legal and administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced law firm environment, working alongside lawyers, paralegals, and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven ability to manage confidential information, handle multiple responsibilities independently, and meet critical deadlines in a high-stakes legal setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support, including preparing court documents, assisting with litigation case management, and organizing case files.
- Coordinate intake of new cases and track progress using litigation case management systems and Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER).
- Prepare materials for hearings and trials, assemble binders, and organize documents.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and independent decision-making.
- Provide front office support, including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and escorting visitors.
- Maintain organized documentation in both electronic and physical formats.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret (TS) federal security clearance is mandatory.
- 5+ years of experience in legal or clerical roles within a law firm, government legal practice, or court of justice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in litigation support and managing case files.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in litigation case management systems.
- Experience in preparing legal materials for court, managing documentation, and coordinating case workflows.
- Strong understanding of PACER notifications and court filings.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $94,900 - $142,300 per year, with final compensation based on experience, skill set, security clearances, and other relevant factors.
