Position Overview: As a Senior Predictive Modeler, you'll play a key role in developing and implementing predictive models to drive business outcomes and support decision-making. Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Model Development: Develop predictive models using advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining methods to forecast future outcomes and identify trends and patterns in data.
  2. Data Analysis: Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, identify relevant variables, and prepare data for modeling, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  3. Feature Engineering: Engineer features and variables from raw data to improve model performance and predictive accuracy, using domain knowledge and statistical techniques.
  4. Model Evaluation: Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques, and iterate on model development to improve predictive accuracy and generalization.
  5. Model Deployment: Deploy predictive models into production environments, collaborating with software engineering teams to integrate models into business applications and processes.
  6. Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate model results, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to understand requirements and deliver predictive analytics solutions that meet business needs.
  8. Documentation: Document model development processes, methodologies, and findings in clear and concise reports, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of results.
  9. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in predictive modeling and data analytics, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  10. Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior modelers, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill development and career growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in predictive modeling, machine learning, or data science, with a focus on developing and implementing predictive models to solve real-world problems.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques, with experience in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, with a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
