Candlewood Suites is seeking a highly-regarded property in our area looking for a motivated, organized Housekeeper, Guest Room Attendant, or Room Attendant to join our team. The Hotel Housekeeper, Guest Room Attendant, or Room Attendant's mission is to provide an exceptional experience to every guest who stays with us. Cleaning duties include making beds, vacuuming and mopping, restocking toiletries, washing and ironing sheets, and other general tasks. If cleaning is a task that sparks joy for you and you love working with a team, we want to hear from you!

Our renovated property is located just off I65 (exit 101) just minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) and downtown Indianapolis host to Lucas Oil Stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse, Eli Lilly, Indianapolis Children’s Museum, White River State Park, home of the Indianapolis Zoo. Locally, we are convenient to Greenwood Park Mall, Cummins, Endress Hauser, Mitsubishi, Nestle, Duke Energy, St. Francis Hospital, and the Greenwood Municipal Airport with Camp Atterbury and the University of Indianapolis close by.

Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Housekeeper, Guest Room Attendant or Room Attendant include:

  • Clean and arrange hotel rooms following our hotel’s standards before guest arrival
  • Maintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
  • Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
  • Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items, and any damage or repairs needed
  • Answer general questions from guests

Requirements for the Hotel Housekeeper, Guest Room Attendant or Room Attendant include:

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
  • Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
