Marathon TS is looking for a qualified Systems Analyst to support our federal client in Baltimore, MD.

Position Description

The role is responsible for ensuring that emerging technology is implemented in compliance with regulations, standards, and policies. This hands-on position includes supporting Windows and Linux server environments, handling application issues, and monitoring system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Windows and Linux server and application issues onsite.
  • Provide support for Badge ID application issues support as needed.
  • Provide CMS application issues support as needed.
  • Perform new Zabbix installations and monitor system health and performance.
  • Support Fast ID calls.
  • Manage CAFIS performance or nonperformance reporting to CJIS teams as ad-hoc reports when required.
  • Update and enhance MAFIS documents as needed or requested.
  • Conduct patching updates in Test environment.
  • Conduct CMS health checks and space checks.
  • Perform Daily CMS disk space and MAFIS Health checks.
  • Monitor latent site hard drives for space.
  • Monitor UAT environment for testing and for both the customer and internal use for Thales.
  • Prepare and submit weekly MAFIS health check reports to the customer every Friday.
  • Monitor the production CardsScan room for performance and operational issues.
  • Monitor production transaction controllers for the performance and operational issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance.
  • Perform imaging and installation of new/replacement workstations (Latent/WebID equipment) as applicable.
