We are seeking a highly creative, dedicated, and detail-oriented Commercial Interior Designer to join our dynamic Engineering team. We offer hybrid remote in the Phoenix area and a wide variety of projects. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing commercial interior projects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a passion for creating interior spaces that meet the needs of clients and end-users.

Job Details



What You'll Do:

1. Designing and planning innovative commercial interior spaces that meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards.
2. Creating detailed 3D renderings to illustrate design concepts and assist clients in visualizing the final result.
3. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure design integrity and project coordination.
4. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept development through to final execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
5. Conducting research to identify new trends, materials, and technologies in commercial interior design and incorporating these into design projects where appropriate.
6. Presenting design concepts, 3D renderings, and project plans to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
7. Assisting with the selection and specification of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes.
8. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and other industry professionals.
9. Ensuring all designs comply with health and safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant legislation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial interior design, preferably within the Engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in 3D Rendering and other design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
5. Exceptional creativity and innovation, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and team members.
7. Knowledge of current trends, materials, and technologies in commercial interior design.
8. Familiarity with health and safety regulations, building codes, and other relevant legislation.
9. Professional portfolio showcasing innovative design projects and 3D renderings.
10. Professional certification in Interior Design or a related field would be an asset.
