Responsibilities:

1.Agile Framework Expertise:

The RTE must be well-versed in Agile principles, frameworks, and processes.

They frequently deal with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), so a thorough understanding of SAFe principles is essential.

Understanding Lean-Agile practices and principles, as well as the SAFe Big Picture, is part of this.

  1. Release Train Orchestration:

The RTE is primarily responsible for orchestrating and facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART).

Ensure alignment, prioritization, and value delivery across different Agile teams.

They are in charge of program increment (PI) planning, coordination, and execution.

  1. Facilitation and Communication:

Strong facilitation and communication abilities are required.

The RTE facilitates important rituals like PI planning, inspect and adapt workshops, and Scrum of Scrums.
