Remote or On-site: Candidates MUST be local to greater Lansing area (commutable distance). We are not interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept the position. Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.

Our client, a leading health organization, is in search of a seasoned Infrastructure Solutions Architect 5 to join their team and provide essential support to their DHHS and DHHS AS Teams. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of mission-critical applications that significantly impact public health and well-being.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Coordinating and integrating system data models and design to promote data sharing, eliminate redundancy, and provide for the efficient and effective use of data resources.
• Coordinating with and providing technical advice to the Project Manager to develop project plans.
• Developing an Information Architecture Model supporting, and consistent with, Enterprise Information Management.
• Creating and maintaining the metadata repository, including developing and maintaining a formal description of the data, data structures, and data flow diagrams.
• Defining and enforcing data standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, dependability, quality, and usability.
• Documenting application controls needed to meet security standards.
• Leading in implementation, for IT solutions.
• Performing development of a data management strategy, to ensure data security and appropriate data retention.
• Providing data modeling and design guidance including identification of data entities, data dependencies and data relationships.
• Reviewing Enterprise Architecture Solution Patterns/Reference Models for specific agency application system.

The Right Candidate Has:

• Over 3+ years of Network Administration experience.
• Over 5+ years of RHEL and Windows Server experience.
• Over 3+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience using Architect tools like Visio / LucidChart / Draw.io.
• Experience with Administering/architecting IIS webserver / Apache / WAF.
• Exposure to Application Architecture and familiarity with AppServer like Weblogic / Websphere / JBoss.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artefactory, Veracode.
• Design and architecting for both native / hybrid cloud on AWS / Azure / GoogleCloud deployments.
• Knowledge on IaaC - Terraform / CloudFormation.
• Architecting Container Orchestration K8s / OpenShift.
• Cloudflare experience.
