Job Summary

Reporting to the VP of Finance, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Revenue Operations to lead the sales inspection, dashboards, analytics, trends, and insights to enable and drive growth. They will own the sales technology stack, including Salesforce, leading the initial integration of our finance, sales, customer success and marketing tools to support ongoing sales pipeline analytics, sales forecasting, pipeline management, sales data management, analysis, and all aspects of Deal Desk management and implementation. This expert individual contributor role will actively collaborate across Portside functions in the definition, management, and execution of the sales methodology and engagement models to improve revenue processes, planning, accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Systems Integration

  • Drive the initial integration of Salesforce with Finance, Customer Support, and Marketing automation tools to enable seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure accurate data synchronization and consistency across these systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams in utilizing sales systems and data.

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Collaborate with Sales Leader and FP&A to provide forecasting, analytics, and planning to deliver predictable sales results.
  • Develop real-time dashboards, analysis, and reports from our systems of record, to continuously monitor sales team performance, including Board level and Management reporting.

Sales Enablement

  • Deliver coaching and training sessions to the sales teams to reinforce SFDC hygiene, planning and engagement process adherence and adoption, and promote value-based selling best practices.

Sales Process Optimization

  • Identify areas of opportunity to streamline SFDC (i.e., stage gate requirements and progression, building out products/SKU’s, simplifying opportunity details/required fields, capturing activity and next steps, etc.)
  • Establish a repeatable and highly engaging Sales cadence to provide a consistent and singular view across all Portside companies.
  • Implement and drive a Deal Desk practice to help allocate the proper resources on a per deal basis, and ultimately maximize successful outcomes.

Data Analysis and Insights

  • Extract meaningful insights from sales data.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Other duties as assigned.

  • 7+ years of direct experience in Sales/Revenue Operations with financial analytics responsibilities.
  • 5+ years Salesforce.com (SFDC) operational experience with a strong understanding of core functionality, configuration, and user requirements.
  • 3+ years in a sales operations leadership role.
  • Significant experience integrating multiple systems of record (NetSuite, Salesforce, Zoho Desk, marketing tools).
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working in data analytics is a plus.
  • Must be able to work with sensitive, confidential information.
  • Proactive, highly motivated, and results oriented.
  • Enjoys working with people, understanding their needs, and solving their problems.
  • Strong communication, documentation, organization, and training skills.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Professional demeanor and team player.

Location

This role requires in-office presence three days per week in our Boise, ID or San Francisco, CA offices.
