Salary:	$165,640 $194,492 depending on experience

Overview

Designs and heads, develops, and contributes to the application process by providing advice relating to the use of application framework, system and application design, coding and design standards, best practices, and system performance and availability, building java-based software solutions to meet client needs.

Essential Responsibilities

• Devises and presents system architectures and strategies for assigned projects.
• Research, design, and write software to specifications, either individually or leading a team of other architects.
• Provides technical and architectural guidance to architectural and development teams in areas of both design and coding.
• Candidates must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure timely and appropriate customer follow-up and/or escalation to the appropriate individuals, teams, or vendors.
• Must be able to develop software and products using Java

• Javascript/typescript
• Frontend frameworks like Vue and Bootstrap
• Elastic
• Hibernate
• Automated testing tools like Mockito, JUnit, Cypress, etc.
• Databases like MySQL, Redis, etc.
• SCM and issue tracking tools like Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• DevSecOps pipeline tools such as Gitlab CI/CD, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, etc.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Extensive experience in developing and running shell scripts.
• Basic knowledge of Windows platforms, services, and applications.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with CI Poly
• Background investigation is required.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with technologies identified for potential use
• Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts and practices.
• Basic knowledge of multifactor authentication configurations for RHEL clients.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and effective time management and organizational skills.

Work Conditions

The work environment is an office setting. This person must have the physical capacity to sit still for long durations with occasional movement within the office to access files or office equipment. This person must also have the technical skill to arrange an office space using the equipment provided. The person in this position regularly interacts with employees and clients through various modes of communication, such as emails, phone calls, video calls, etc. This person must have the communication skill to convey precise information in these situations.
