Position Overview:

We are seeking a Junior Application Testing Specialist to assist in the testing efforts for our Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform as part of the Product Management Transformation project. In this role, you will work alongside senior testers and developers to ensure that the Dynamics 365 platform is reliable, secure, and meets business needs. You will participate in designing and executing test plans, automating test cases, and ensuring overall quality control for the platform. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in software testing and automation using tools like Leapwork.

As a Junior Application Testing Specialist, you will contribute to the testing processes, assist with troubleshooting, and gain hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing test plans and test cases for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, ensuring the platform meets business and technical requirements.

  • Support manual testing efforts, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), under the guidance of senior testers.

  • Learn and contribute to test automation using tools like Leapwork, automating key test cases to improve efficiency and coverage.

  • Help document and track defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Participate in end-to-end testing and integration testing to ensure smooth operation of the platform and its integrations with other systems.

  • Collaborate with senior team members to gather requirements, assist in test script design, and provide feedback on functionality and user experience.

  • Use tools such as Azure DevOps to manage test cases, track defects, and monitor test progress.

  • Continuously learn and stay up-to-date on new testing methodologies and tools to improve testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience or internships in application testing, with exposure to enterprise platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Basic knowledge of manual testing techniques, including functional, integration, and regression testing.

  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Leapwork or a willingness to learn automation frameworks and techniques.

  • Basic understanding of Agile and DevOps testing methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying issues and ensuring software quality.

  • Familiarity with using tools like Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or coursework in test automation, using tools like Leapwork or other automation tools.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft Azure.

  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards like HIPAA and GDPR in the context of software testing.

  • Experience in using performance and load testing tools is a plus.
