Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced ASIC Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and maintaining ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) components, ensuring they meet functional, performance, and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on ASIC components.
  • Document test results, including tracking pass/fail statuses, issues encountered, and steps for debugging or troubleshooting.
  • Track inventory and provide technical support, especially in diagnosing and troubleshooting PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) at the component level.
  • Generate comprehensive test reports that outline test results and any required actions.
  • Maintain hardware and ensure that all testing stations are functioning optimally by making modifications as needed.
  • Navigate the Linux operating system, utilizing the terminal and executing relevant commands throughout the testing process.
  • Address and support internal customer needs in relation to testing and hardware modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in ASIC testing and PCB troubleshooting at the component level.
  • Strong knowledge of functional, performance, and reliability testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in the Linux operating system and familiarity with terminal commands.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
