Job Title: Business Analyst 5 (Hybrid)
Location: Lansing, MI
Duration: 1 year with extension possible
Pay Rate: $65/hr on C2C / 1099
Interviews: 1st round interviews will be held via MS Teams. There is a potential 2nd round interview could be held in-person, so please make sure your candidate is available to come onsite for an interview if requested.
Position location: Lansing, MI. Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
Local candidates (strongly preferred) or non-local (must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays & follow the onsite/hybrid schedule)

Justification: Provide presentations, reports, statistics, metrics, and analysis of services provided by Network Services
Short Description: Receive, process, present data, and information from our weekly Helix datasets which are provided from another I&O division.
Complete Description:
- Extrapolate datasets from Service Desk Support Team and prepare using appropriate algorithm tools
- Ability to obtain and report data analysis of datasets
- Facilitate meetings to discuss data analysis of workloads and projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Skills, Experience and Education:
Bachelors Degree, Required
Organization and Prioritization skills are Mandatory
Understanding CRISP-DM process model
Ability to follow the steps for a data mining project

o Data preparation
o Modeling
o Evaluation
o Deployment
Communication and Interpersonal skills are Mandatory
Previous experience working with multiple agencies and/or vendors and/or departments in an enterprise environment are Required
Minimum 1-3 years experience with PBI, R, IBM SPSS, and/or Tableau
Minimum 3-5 years experience with Microsoft Project and Excel is Required
Minimum 2-3 years experience with DevOPs is Preferred
Minimum 3-5 years experience with Remedy/Helix is Required
Minimum 3-5 years working within a Telecommunications environment is Preferred
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a large Enterprise setting is Required
Minimum 3-5 years work experience with multiple network platforms is Preferred
Minimum 3-5 years working with multiple network lines of service is Required
Minimum 5+ years dealing with customers is Required
