Job Title: Emulation Model Builder - Palladium Experience

Location: Bay Area, CA OR Austin, TX

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled individual with experience in building emulation models, integrating transactors, and debugging using Palladium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transitioning ASIC/IP RTL to emulation platforms, specifically Palladium.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop emulation models from released RTL designs, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
  • Generate loadable images for target platforms, thoroughly testing and releasing these images to the Firmware and DV teams.
  • Conduct sanity tests to qualify the release of images, ensuring they meet the required specifications.
  • Distribute the completed models to various teams, including Functional Validation, Firmware, and DV.
  • Assist in debugging failures by providing instrumented models, including waveform dumps and in-circuit debugging, while collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with the Tools team to validate the release of tools and models.
  • Utilize FPGA and emulator flows and methodologies effectively throughout the process.
  • Implement emulation methodologies, including in-circuit emulation, hybrid systems, and simulation acceleration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in emulation model building and debugging, particularly with Palladium.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC/IP RTL design and its transition to emulation platforms.
  • Familiarity with FPGA and emulator flows and methodologies.
  • Experience with emulation methodologies, including in-circuit emulation and simulation acceleration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
