Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Business Development Consultant to support our nonprofit clients in optimizing their revenue generation and growth strategies. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing current sales and development processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing business process improvements to enhance the organization's capacity to achieve its mission. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of nonprofit operations and experience in guiding organizations through growth-oriented strategies while maintaining their core values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the nonprofit's existing sales and business development processes, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Provide strategic guidance on revenue generation, partnership development, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Develop a unified lead-to-book business development processes that align with the organization's mission and goals.
  • Establish metrics and benchmarks to track the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, or one-on-one consultations to build internal capacity for sales and business growth.



Required

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or consulting, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit structures, fundraising mechanisms, and revenue streams.
  • Experience leading sales training and coaching sessions
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and across different levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement growth strategies.
  • Experience in grant writing, sponsorship development, or major donor engagement is a plus.
