The Director/Sr Director of Production will oversee all creative production aspects for the Marketing team, ensuring high-quality delivery across video, graphic, and photography projects. This role is pivotal in managing a dynamic team of creatives, collaborating with other departments, and developing engaging content that enhances the club's brand presence. The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary with exceptional leadership skills and a deep understanding of production processes across multiple media formats.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the video, graphic design, and photography teams, fostering collaboration and creativity.
  • Ensure the timely execution of high-quality content (photo, video and Graphic Design) that aligns with the club’s strategic goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Creative to align production work with the team’s overall creative vision.
  • Manage workflow processes and deadlines for all creative production teams, balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Oversee the production of multimedia content, including Matchday coverage, behind-the-scenes features, social media assets, marketing campaigns, and player profiles.
  • Ensure all produced content is innovative, engaging, and maintains consistency with the club’s brand guidelines.
  • Optimize post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, sound design, and final delivery across platforms.
  • Oversee and manage the production budget, ensuring all projects are delivered within the allocated resources.
  • Allocate resources across video, graphic, and photography teams to maximize efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and improving production efficiency.
  • Work closely with Creative, Operations and Digital, and other internal departments to ensure that all creative assets meet the needs of broader marketing campaigns and fan engagement strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external production vendors, freelancers, and agencies when required.
  • Lead pre-production planning, including scouting locations, coordinating with technical teams, and scheduling.
  • Mentor and support the development of the video, graphic, and photography teams, ensuring each member has the necessary tools and opportunities to grow.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and production techniques, sharing knowledge and driving innovation within the team.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in in Production, Media, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in creative production, including video, graphic design, and photography, preferably in sports, entertainment, or related industries.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing and scaling production teams.
  • Strong understanding of video production, graphic design, photography, and post-production workflows.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of digital production tools and emerging creative trends.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours in nontraditional settings, including holidays, nights and weekends.
