Netchannels is looking for a talented communications individual to join our Marketing Team focused on the Public Sector. The ideal candidate is a copy writer and storyteller, with a proven track record of producing customer-facing marketing assets that drive audience engagement.

A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, and work experience writing for B2B organizations targeting IT decision makers and mission owners.

Ultimately, you will deliver quality writing pieces that appeal to our target audiences within the Public Sector and boost brand awareness.

Please, share your portfolio of writing samples especially in the Public Sector/Government. You need to understand the voice of the customer, the clients’ solutions, and how to effectively use generative AI in your work and writing.

NOTE: the government landscape is very different from the typical commercial audience and knowledge of the public sector is requirement.

From our client:

  • Customer stories & voices are critical: Our customers want to hear from their peers on how they’ve successfully used our technology, platform, models and solutions. They should be front and center in everything we do. We need to find innovative ways to bring these stories to market, champion our customers, and integrate them into our core messaging and positioning. Link to customer stories examples
  • We need to provide industry solution narratives and messaging that appeals to both mission owners & IT leaders
  • We need to reach agency leaders - including Chief AI Officers - with marketing assets that offer data and fresh insights and perspectives
  • We need to ensure what differentiates Google Cloud & Google Workspace from other cloud providers is consistently communicated
  • We are looking to source and write roughly 30 customer story kits (each kit includes blogs, case studies, one pagers, etc) throughout 2025 for use in our field marketing

What you'll be doing:

  • Create and/or edit content utilized across a variety of channels that includes:
    • ebooks
    • brochures
    • Infographics
    • Blogs
    • One-pager
    • Landing Page
  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Marketing, Customer Reference, Sales, Creative Services
  • Prepare well-structured drafts
  • Proofread and edit content before publication
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders for input and approval
  • Ensure consistency with corporate style guidelines (style, fonts, images and tone)
Required Skills:

  • MUST: High Tech industry knowledge including Cloud
  • 5+ years in technology marketing/Communications
  • 8+ years in copywriting roles
  • Experience writing to IT decision makers preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree, and demonstrated work experience, in Journalism, English, Marketing or similar role; masters’ degree a plus
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to build compelling messages and storylines that align with personas, customer pain points, buyer’s journey stages, and brand voice and style
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented professional that thrives in high-volume, high-velocity project environments
