Pay/Salary Range: $90,000k/yr. - $120,000k/yr.

Akkodis is seeking to fill a DIRECT HIRE Maintenance Electrical Technician job in Lexington, NC. The successful candidate will be taking care of customers by executing the division's safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives. This includes troubleshooting and repairs, cooperating with and supporting operations, aggressively pursuing process improvement, assist with documentation and training for all equipment and other duties as assigned. The Electrician is expected to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Company; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Qualifications:
  • 2-year degree in electrical or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in Steel Mill electrical maintenance
  • Demonstrated understanding of Power concepts.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Automation technologies.
  • Demonstrated basic hydraulic/mechanic understanding.
