Commercial Plumber & Plumbing Apprentice

Summit Service Solutions, a leading provider of skilled tradesmen to the construction industry, is immediately hiring skilled Plumbers and a Plumbing Apprentice to work on commercial construction projects in the West Chester, PA area.

Our Plumbers earn $26 to $30 an hour, depending on experience, and our Apprentices earn $21 - $25 an hour, depending on experience.

To be considered for an Apprentice position, you must have at least 1 to 3 years of plumbing experience and your own tools.

To qualify for a Plumber position, you must have 4 or more years of commercial plumbing experience, a valid driver s license and reliable transportation. In addition, we require you to have your own tools to bring to work and have prior experience:

  • Working with copper and cast iron.
  • Brazing pipes and tubing.
  • Running PVC drain lines.
  • Installing PVC piping for drains and vents. You will be required to perform an air test.
  • Running PEX piping and properly using crimpers.
  • Installing tubs, showers and faucets.
  • Installing fire stopping devices and stud guards.
  • Installing air test equipment.
