What We re Looking For

We are looking for a high performing Onboarding Specialist to join our team. This role involves efficiently onboarding clients and setting up our bookkeeping team for success. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of onboarding experience, a strong background in bookkeeping, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cloud accounting platforms.

What Your Responsibilities Look Like

  • Guide clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to the cloud bookkeeping system.
  • Collect and organize financial documents and information from clients.
  • Develop and implement processes tailored to client needs, adhering to Enkel standards, and create detailed documentation to support bookkeeping procedures.
  • Set up client profiles in the cloud accounting platform.
  • Manage the migration of financial data from clients' previous systems to the cloud platform.
  • Verify the accuracy of transferred data and troubleshoot any discrepancies using quality assurance processes.
  • Configure integrations with other relevant software and tools used by clients.
  • Address client inquiries and provide ongoing support to ensure comfort with the new platform.
  • Conduct training sessions to help clients navigate and utilize the features of the cloud bookkeeping system.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is collected and processed within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) of 23 business days.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of client onboarding processes, configurations, and client-specific instructions.
  • Create and update user manuals and guides for client reference.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of working experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of onboarding experience.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with popular cloud accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Bookkeeper (CPB) or Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor are a plus.
