As a Director, Forecasting at EMARKETER you will work directly with our forecasting team to develop EMARKETER estimates and forecasts and provide our content teams with insights to help develop reports, articles, press releases, videos and other interactive content as needed.
In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of forecasters, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to forecasting methodologies. You'll also be responsible for onboarding and training new team members to maintain consistent processes and uphold the highest standards.
This is a hybrid role working from our HQ at One Liberty Plaza 2 times a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of forecasters, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of all forecasting work.
- Collaborate with content teams to provide actionable insights and contribute to the development of reports and various media.
- Oversee and maintain the accuracy and consistency of the EMARKETER forecasting methodology.
- Train and onboard new hires, ensuring they understand and follow team processes and forecasting techniques.
- Gain expertise in EMARKETER's forecasting methodology and develop a deep understanding of key forecasting topics.
- Organize and analyze data and qualitative information from various sources related to the digital marketing industry, refining and creating models for EMARKETER's proprietary estimates and forecasts.
- Translate quantitative data into actionable insights and narratives that align with business objectives.
- Stay informed of emerging trends in the digital and mobile sectors.
- Work closely with the forecasting team and cross-functional stakeholders to identify new industry trends and areas of value for EMARKETER clients, expanding forecasts into these emerging sectors.
- Regularly present findings and insights through presentations and written communications, both internally and externally.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in managing teams, including the ability to train and develop team members.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing projects ensuring the achievement of key objectives and deadlines.
- A strong quantitative background with relevant analytical experience in areas such as market research, marketing & advertising, consumer insights analysis and digital trends preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively and cleanly.
Salary & Benefits:
- $120,000-$135,000 (dependent on skills & experience)
