TITLE: Senior Hardware Design Engineer
LOCATION: Mount Laurel, NJ
CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time, On-site
Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA) Government Systems, Inc. (GSI) is seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join the hardware engineering team located in Mount Laurel, NJ. The Senior Hardware Engineer will design and test radar sub-systems in support of DoD and international customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work on radar programs supporting all phases of development from requirements generation through hardware and firmware design, fabrication, integration, and test.
RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- Board and chassis-level analog and RF design (50 MHz-20 GHz).
- Work projects from requirements through integration.
- Understand RF gain and noise performance.
- Complete associated design documentation, test plans, test procedures, test reports.
- Interface with systems and software engineering groups to facilitate integration and testing of complex subsystems.
- Mentor younger engineers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance.
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8-15 years of related hardware design experience.
- Proficient with RF test equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot complex subsystems.
- Able to travel to support occasional site integration-related activities.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess an active DoD Secret security clearance (within past 2 years of start date).
- M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
