Eastern s HR Team is looking for the right person to support the recruiting and employee relations functions. The HR Operations Specialist will work 100% on-site and report directly to the Employee Relations Manager. In this role you will work as an integral part of the Human Resources team to model and foster Eastern s employee-centric culture emphasizing quality, high performance, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service. WHAT WE RE HOPING YOU LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- 3+ years experience in HR Operations or similar HR role.
- Strong understanding of HRIS database (ADP a plus) design, structure, functions, processes, and tools.
- Experience navigating electronic signature and document management platforms helpful.
- Experience writing performance related documents a plus.
- Extreme comfort with systems and databases. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- General understanding of employment laws and regulations.
WHAT YOUR ROLE WILL LOOK LIKE:
While the Senior Recruiter is chatting with candidates and representing Eastern at recruiting events, you will support that role by:
- Maintaining recruiting platforms and tracking employment data accurately, which includes job requisitions, applicant tracking, and document management.
- Preparing offer letters that align with Eastern s practices and remain compliant with local and federal policy and regulation.
- Facilitating all candidate transactions in the electronic signature and document management platform (DocuSign).
While the Employee Relations Manager is focused on leadership development and employee engagement, you will support that role by:
- Performing the rollout, timely management, and successful completion of Eastern s performance review process.
- Developing clear and accurate job descriptions and performance related documents.
- Utilizing Excel to develop raw data into presentable material based on the needs of various projects.
- Providing ongoing guidance and support to managers and employees regarding policies and procedures.
- Engaging employees in exit interviews and reporting findings appropriately and to applicable stakeholders.
Additional HR support responsibilities include participating in onboarding communications and presenting during weekly new employee orientation.
