We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement reliable, scalable, and secure database solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business
Work closely with software development teams, provide mentorship to junior database professionals, and ensure data models align with application requirements
Interact with stakeholders and system administration teams to understand challenges, roadmap database infrastructure, and perform capacity planning
Manage vendor relationships and third-party engagements
Monitor and tune database performance
Follow secure-by-design principles and work alongside CISO to implement and maintain a comprehensive data security strategy
Provide backup mechanisms and disaster recovery planning
Requirements
Who YOU Are

Detail-oriented and organized
Qualifications
Minimum 8+ years of experience with clustered and highly available relational databases in an engineer and architect capacity
Minimum 3+ years of providing thought leadership and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
Expertise with MySQL databases
Proficiency in writing complex queries relevant to the database platform(s) in use
Experience with Clickhouse and timeseries databases such as Prometheus
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as PHP, Perl, or Python
Intermediate knowledge of Linux systems administration
Experience with cloud-based database solutions, DevOps methodologies and automation tools, and developmental experience with PHP and Laravel a plus
