Engineering Technician VI

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC, a premier strategic services firm that meets IT and Service needs for commercial and government clients. We are is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician VI. This position is located in Quantico, VA, with extended support of up to five (5) additional locations

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering functions such as developing operational systems concepts, performing system trade studies, originating design concepts or performing systems level test and integration test for highly complex systems
• Design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings.
• Prepare designs and specifications for various complex equipment or systems (e.g., a heating system in an office building, or new electronic components such as solid-state devices for instrumentation equipment)
• Plan approach to solve design problems
• Conceive and recommend new design techniques
• Resolve design problems with contract personnel, and assures compatibility of design with other parts of the system;
• Design and coordinates test set-ups and experiments to prove or disprove the feasibility of preliminary design
• Use untried and untested measurement techniques; and improves the performance of the equipment.
• Arrange for fabrication of pilot models and determines test procedures and design of special test equipment.
• Capable of independently planning and accomplishing complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four-year electronics apprentice program; or High School diploma or GED.
• 12 years with degree/formal training or 14 years with HS/GED of practical experience
