  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Location: NYC, NY (Onsite 3 days per week)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead a team within the Risk Technology division at Jefferies. The candidate will need to balance hands-on leadership with managing development teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring technical quality and project delivery.

Position: Contract (3 months, potential for extension)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a software development team, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Provide hands-on technical oversight, particularly in Java, Python, and database technologies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Oversee team management, including resource planning and technical direction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing development teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Python, and various database technologies.
  • Ability to handle client interactions and ensure alignment between technical and business goals.
  • Seniority and executive presence to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in Broker/Dealer Risk Technology.
