Contract: Navy CAS Propeller Contract
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role involves maintaining and repairing King Air and Metroliner turboprop aircraft to support essential training missions for the U.S. Navy. Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on King Air and Metroliner aircraft.
- Inspect aircraft engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, accessories brakes, valves, pumps, and air-conditioning systems.
- Read and interpret pilots' descriptions of problems to diagnose causes.
- Implement modifications to aircraft as required by manufacturers and the FAA.
- Maintain and repair aircraft components, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
- Proven experience with turboprop aircraft maintenance, particularly King Air or Metroliner.
- Thorough knowledge of aviation safety standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent technical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Security Clearance: Secret eligibility required; current Secret clearance preferred.
