Job DescriptionWe re searching for a Vice President Group Director, Technology to serve as the technical delivery lead for a client engagement, overseeing a cross-functional technical team. In this executive leadership role, you will be responsible for building, delivering, and scaling Digitas Health s wide range of technical offerings to our clients. These services include marketing technology strategy, platform and tool recommendations, full-stack software/platform development, quality assurance, business analysis, and managed services. You will report to the Senior Vice President, Technology.
Your Responsibilities:
- Executive leadership across client engagements, including setting processes and best practices
- Overall health and client satisfaction of multiple client engagements
- Explain agency views on digital business philosophies, keep clients updated on the latest technologies and leading the vision for growth for the long term
- Lead a team of VPs, Technology Directors and Managers and the relationship with client IT or Technology teams
- Develop relationships with our client marketing, customer experience, and promotional review teams
- Grow current client engagements and leading technology involvement in new business efforts
- Provide leadership and guide the implementation and activation of MarTech platforms; identify opportunities and provide recommendations for platform optimization through understanding of product roadmaps in correlation to client goals
- Consult for estimation of projects and large-scale engagements and scope documents
- Financial accountability for technology scopes
- Forecast and maintain right-sized technology staffing across multiple engagements and projects
- Remove impediments from both daily projects and organizational progress
- Promote cross-capability team adherence to the SDLC process
- Provide executive approval for technical requirements, production deployments, and policy documents
- Collaborate with digital strategists during strategic development
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and project managers during the creation of requirements
- Collaborate with Creative and UX teams in the design phase of the projects
- Collaborate with the Technical Architects and client IT teams to design technical solutions
- Stay current on latest marketing technologies, best-practices, and trends
- Develop relevant case studies on client businesses and vendor partner experiences to help support optimization and new business initiatives
- Manage the technology capability to adapt to changing environments and coach teams to successful solutions and skill development
- Four-year degree (Computer Science or equivalent preferred) or equivalent work experience
- 12+ years of work experience in the marketing technology or IT space
- 10+ years of experience leading technical teams
- 5+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products or similar platforms including Salesforce, Sitecore and Acquia
- 4+ years of experience delivering enterprise omni-channel connected marketing solutions and experiences
- Deep expertise with software development processes and conventions
- Expertise with the foundational elements of web page anatomy and building blocks such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Expertise with the marketing technologies and experience management platforms
- Expertise with business and technical processes to enable technology solutions
- Experience communicating project and team risks to leadership and clients
- Experience leading client meetings, presentations, multiple simultaneous projects for multiple clients ,and new business efforts
- Experience working within multiple project management methodologies
- Experience with standard business software and industry-specific tools JIRA, Sketch, Zeplin, and automated testing
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) best-practices
- Familiarity with business operations such as margin, profitability, contract terms, and project burn
- Creative agency experience or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Recent Adobe certifications
- You are open to travel (including internationally)

Compensation Range: $159,500 - $269,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
