Nationally acclaimed full-service Am Law 200 business law firm is seeking an Insurance Coverage & Recovery Associate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing coverage and recovery group that includes a large sports insurance component (representing/counseling athletes, teams, and leagues). This position is onsite at the firm s Los Angeles, California office. Ideal candidates must be California barred, will have experience in dealing with coverage and recovery issues arising out of general liability policies and must also have a policyholder/plaintiff mindset.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a California Bar license in good standing
  • Must have a 3-5 years of experience in dealing with coverage and recovery issues arising out of general liability policies, Directors & Officers and Errors & Omission, as well as others, sports insurance experience is a plus
  • Must have a policyholder/plaintiff mindset
  • Must have excellent writing skills and knowledgeable in discovery and motion practice
  • Must have strong legal research skills
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must be motivated to learn and grow professionally
