  1. Role: MDG Architect

Client: Deloitte Federal

Duration: 12 months + possibility of extension

Location: nearly 100% remote, occasional trip to D.C. Area once a quarter

Rate: Market (+ expenses for occasional travel)

Job Summary: The SAP MDG Architect will be responsible for designing, configuring, developing, and maintaining SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, SAP MDG functionalities, and experience in architecting and configuring data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP MDG solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements related to master data governance.
  • Develop and maintain data models, workflows, and user interfaces within SAP MDG.
  • Configure SAP MDG modules to meet specific business needs and ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data governance processes to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Optimize data governance performance and scalability to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in master data governance and SAP MDG.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data management, SAP MDG, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of master data governance principles and data management processes.
  • Proficiency in configuring SAP MDG and related SAP modules.
  • Experience with data modeling, data integration, and data quality management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP data management tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Certification in SAP MDG or data management.
