Dayton T. Brown is a Leader in ENGINEERING & TEST | LOGISTICS | TECH PUBLICATIONS | MILITARY MISSIONS SYSTEMS. We have an opportunity for a full-time, Sr. Logistician to join our growing talented team in our Technical Services Division.

This position is within Dayton T Brown's Technical Services Division reporting to the Product Support Program Manager. The Sr. Logistician will use Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) to understand customer requirements for Provisioning Parts List (PPL), Engineering for Provisioning Data (EDFP), and Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA). The ideal candidate will also have familiarity with LSA-019 and LSA-036 reports.

Additionally, there will be opportunities to assist in the development of Product Support proposals. The candidate should be comfortable with a remote work environment, have strong time management skills and be able to prioritize work tasks. It is important to have good communication skills with both internal and external customers. There may be times when overtime is needed as well as a small amount of travel (<10%). This position does not have any direct reports and is an individual contributor.

Job Qualifications in Job Description:

  • BS in Engineering or 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Mechanical Aptitude and/or former maintainer experience.
  • Must have minimum of 7+ years of direct experience supporting MTA/PTD/EDFP development.
  • Must have minimum of 7+ years' recent experience in Logistics Product Data development (SLICwave, EAGLE, PowerLOG-J).
  • Must have familiarity with MIL-STD-1388-2B or GEIA-STD-0007.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
  • US Citizenship
