Construction Estimator
$75,000k-$110,000k (DOE)

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Westerville, Ohio (onsite)
The Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible for estimating projects of various sizes and types within the industrial, office, education, and healthcare industries. Project sizes range from $10,000 up to $20 million. This person will largely support the design/build manager by providing estimates for schematic, design development, and permit-level drawings.

What you ll be doing:
- Provide accurate budgets for projects in the conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents level of a project design
- Provide hard bid and competitive estimating for plan and spec projects
- Assist service department with estimates on smaller projects with line-item budgets
- Provide value engineering analysis
- Be able to handle multiple estimates at one time
- Present estimates and budgets to customers, providing backup documentation as needed
- Work with designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal associates as needed
Who we re looking for:
- Bachelor s degree in a construction-related field
- 3-5 years of construction estimating experience
- Ability to develop customer and vendor relationships
- Ability to develop scope of work based on limited information
- Strong math and writing skills
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Growth mindset
- Strong computer and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
