With industry-leading salaries, generous incentive plans, and a lakefront campus, Corvid continues to be one of the top employers in the Charlotte metro.

Corvid is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our Contracts team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the closeout process for contracts and subcontracts - ensuring compliance with internal procedures and government regulations, subcontractor engagement and collaboration, and supporting senior contract administrators as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, have strong Excel skills, and adapt quickly to new tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current closeout workloads and procedures, and then identify, develop, and implement process improvements that result in a more efficient, accurate, and compliant closeout process with enhanced analytic reporting capabilities.

  • Provide advice to internal stakeholders, including program managers and division leaders, regarding contract/subcontract closeout administration and deliver executive level management and oversight to the contract/subcontract closeout process.

  • Review contracts for cradle-to-grave close out actions.

  • Support the Contract Administration team in the pre, post, and closeout of contract files. Attend meetings with the Contracts Administration and/or Program Management team for the designated contract as needed.

  • Maintain awareness of technical efforts and progress.

  • Possess the ability to work independently with minimal training and oversight.

  • Provide day to day management and administration of multiple highly complex classified programs of varying contract types.

  • Act as primary interface for the contracts team with program managers and external customers (Contracting Officers/Contract Specialists or Subcontract Managers).

  • Support and interface with internal organizations (Finance, Engineering, Executive Leadership, Operations, Pricing) in the daily administration and proposal process.

  • Create and negotiate Proprietary Information Agreements and Teaming Agreements.

  • Ensure contract compliance while maintaining complete and current contract files within the areas of contract set-up, deliverables, invoice tracking, cash collection, internal/external reporting, and audits.

Required Skills:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.

  • Prior experience in contract/subcontract closeout preferred but not required.

  • Strong desire to learn and the ability to adapt quickly is essential.

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor s degree, preferably in Finance, Contracts, Business Administration,

Supply Chain Management, or related areas.
