Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis
  • Execute MySQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Assist staff with technical support and trainings
  • Learn new skills on the job

Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs
  • Assist in the development of data-driven strategies

Learning and Development

  • Engage in continuous learning to advance technical skills
  • Participate in training programs to transition into a developer role
  • Gain hands-on experience in software development, including coding, debugging, and software design
  • Work on small development projects to build a strong foundation in software development practices

Problem Solving

  • Address data-related issues promptly
  • Apply a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving problems.

Qualifications

  • Computer Science degree or qualified certifications in database studies or programming

Technical Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in using MySQL
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
  • Prior programming or web design experience is a plus

Soft Skills

  • High aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Positive attitude with a 'never say no' approach to challenges

Compensation

  • The position offers a competitive salary range starting at $60,000, with the potential for a raise upon successful completion of the training program and based on performance after the first 60 days.
