We are actively seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Field Communications Specialist to join our Marketing Communications team. The role is designed to execute messaging that clearly and consistently informs, educates, and engages our Stylists in our product launches, promotions, incentives, events, and business objectives through a multi-channel approach. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a creative flair, and technical expertise to manage a range of communication projects, from email campaigns to broader field-facing communications.
Requirements:RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute comprehensive outgoing communications to support sales initiatives, product launches, and promotions specifically targeting our Stylists in the field.
- Write clever, engaging copy for email, web, social media, and internal communications and proofread and edit communications to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Make minor adjustments to HTML code as needed for email templates, landing pages, and other digital assets
- Have the ability to make minor edits to PDFs and graphics, using Adobe, Photoshop, or Canva, and upload edited graphics and images into emails and digital platforms when necessary.
- Develop and deliver regular updates, newsletters, and other relevant communication materials to keep Color Street Stylists informed, motivated, and engaged
- Partner with cross-functional teams and coordinate field communication efforts for all Color Street Events including but not limited to, conferences, incentive trips, and promotional trips, including developing supporting materials, to ensure consistent messaging and engagement, when necessary.
- Have the ability to take complicated information and distill it down to clear, concise, and engaging messaging
- Understand and represent the brand voice in all communications
- Provide feedback, insight, and create opportunities for problem-solving
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in the Direct Sales Industry preferred
- Proven experience in communications, sales enablement, or a similar role, with a focus on supporting sales representatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively tailor messages for sales audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams, sales leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to sales meetings, conferences, or other Color Street events
