Reporting to the Director, Business Improvement, this role will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, with travel to the mine sites as needed.

What We Can Offer You:

  • Provide support to the Project Validation Process
  • Collaborate with teams at our mining operations to streamline processes
  • Influence business improvement projects around the business
  • Advance the evaluation of autonomous and battery electric mining equipment
  • Collect and tabulate data to influence business improvement projects
  • Develop technical and relationship management skills via project coordination and interaction with corporate, operations staff as well as contractors

What We re Looking For:

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor s degree in Engineering or with an upcoming graduation date
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Prior internship experience (Mining related experiences are preferred)
  • Available to start in July 2024
  • Ability to adapt well to different situations and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Team oriented and positive attitude
  • Strong technical & analytical skills with an interest of working with data to drive decision making.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage vendors, project manage & oversee execution of Business Improvement projects
  • Available to travel 50%
  • This role may require 2-3 months on site during project initiation.
