Role and Responsibilities:
The Field Service Engineer - CT/Nuc Med will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of medical imaging equipment, with a focus on CT and Nuclear technologies. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing onsite and phone support to the field service organization for software, firmware, networking, and clinical applications
  • Taking ownership of the customer experience by initiating problem resolution and escalation
  • Engaging necessary resources for timely problem resolution
  • Communicating directly with customers and building strong rapport
  • Following up with customers to ensure all issues are resolved
  • Supporting new product introductions and first-of-a-kind installations
  • Reporting status to internal and external customer support teams
  • Acting as a technical resource and customer advocate as needed
  • Providing technical support to sales and applications
  • Identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements in tools, training, and processes to enhance productivity


Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing and troubleshooting electrical/electronic equipment
  • Experience in servicing/installing medical imaging equipment, with a focus on CT and Nuclear technologies
  • Basic skills and qualifications in handling computer software installations and upgrades, as well as electronic-mechanic assembly
  • The ability to work independently and travel as required (approximately 30% air travel)
  • A strong sense of customer service with excellent interpersonal skills
