K-12 Education Funding Advisor

Purpose

CENTEGIX, a leader in innovative safety solutions for K-12 education, is seeking a dedicated K-12 Education Funding Advisor to join our team. This key role will provide strategic support to our sales team by identifying and communicating various state, local, and grant funding opportunities available to US school districts. This position will provide strategic counsel to prospective customers on their funding approach for CENTEGIX solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the K-12 education funding landscape, including government and private sector funding, and will be able to help our team navigate the complex funding processes.

Position Responsibilities

• Research and identify available funding sources, including federal, state, and local grants, that align with CENTEGIX s offerings.
• Develop a comprehensive funding resource library for internal use, detailing how school districts can fund safety solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on K-12 funding options for both internal teams and prospective clients.
• Provide ongoing training to sales team members on how to leverage funding knowledge during the sales process.
• Provide strategic counsel to assist prospective customers in determining their funding approach for CENTEGIX purchases.
• Develop and manage an inventory of grant writing resources to support prospective customers in completing the grant application processes as needed.
• Monitor changes in funding policies and regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
• Establish and maintain relationships with funding organizations, both governmental and private, to ensure CENTEGIX stays informed of upcoming opportunities.

• Bachelor's degree in education, public policy, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in grant writing, education funding, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of K-12 education funding structures, including ESSER, Title I, and other federal, state, and local funding mechanisms.
• Proven ability to research, identify, and analyze funding opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex funding information into actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and tracking funding-related data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or within K-12 school districts.
• Understanding of safety, security, or technology-related funding programs.
• Knowledge of current trends in education policy and funding.
