Volt is immediately hiring for Assembler Technicians in Franklin, WI. Join the team at this high-speed packaging equipment manufacturer for the beverage industry.

1st shift or 2nd shift, flexible start times
Typically 1st shift is 7:00 AM 3:30 PM and 2nd shift is 12:00 PM to 8 PM

As an Assembler Technician (for sub-assembly) you will:

• Perform assembly involving electrical or mechanical operations on highly complex, intricate, and precise assemblies or sub-assemblies for packaging equipment.
• Perform operations incidental to assembly which require a high level of skill and expertise.
• Work from extensive specifications and diagrams.
• Use tools (hand tools, power tools) and a variety of testing, gauging devices, and equipment.
• Work to critical tolerances.
• Need considerable mechanical aptitude and skills, technique, knowledge of design, and mechanical / electrical principles.

This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• High school education required, technical school preferred.
• 2+ years experience of sub-assembly (electrical or mechanical) required
• Must be able to read assembly drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Requires a working knowledge of precision assembly techniques as well as mechanical principals. (Electrical principals are not required but a plus).
• Must have the ability to use measuring devices, hand and power tools, arbor press and drill press.
• Must have the ability to read assembly drawings, a working knowledge of metric system required and basic computer skills required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to achieve tight deadlines

Salary: $20.00 27.50/hour + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift
