Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large IT software projects, ensuring successful project delivery exceeding $5M in value.
- Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, resource management, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with project management best practices, standards, and frameworks.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and provide regular status reports to senior management.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and cost control.
- Mitigate project risks, ensuring timely identification, assessment, and resolution of issues.
- Lead project teams and provide mentorship to junior project managers and team members.
- experience managing large IT software projects, each exceeding $5M in value.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strong project management skills, including resource planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- PMP Certification is required.
- experience working in the Healthcare or Public Health sectors.
- experience managing projects with Texas project management frameworks or standards.
- Familiarity with Texas state regulations, procedures, and compliance requirements for IT projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive project teams to successful outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex project details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
