We currently have multiple needs for Installation Technicians in Richmond, VA to help with the installation of Sirens, Computers, Lights, Network/IT Hardware, and Motorola Radios in public service and safety vehicles (Police, Fire, EMS, etc.)
We are looking for candidates that have good hands on working skills that are open minded and can be trained. Any experience installing lights, sirens and communications gear for emergency responders is a major plus but NOT required. Candidates need to bring a positive and hardworking attitude and be willing to learn. Technicians will start off being trained on the basics by shadowing other employees. Once they start to get a grasp, they will be given additional workload and shown more advanced technologies.
Required Skills:
- Familiar with different kinds of hand/power tools.
- Any automotive or wiring experience is preferred.
- Able to work in a somewhat physically demanding environment.
- Have a hard working and positive attitude while at work.
Additional Details:
This offers the opportunity to learn and gain experience in the telecommunications and network field supporting numerous clients.
Candidates will start as the Installation Technician and can work their way up into a Field Service Technician where they will be going to clients' locations and departments to design, install, and trouble shoot their IT Networks (Voice, Data, Internet, Radio)

Work Environment:
Technicians will be working in an automotive shop environment with a small crew. There are up 10 other technicians that will be working there at any given time. You will be shadowing under different technicians.
