Job Description
Location: Southaven, MS
Shift: 5x8 hour Days
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, routine microbiology, and coagulation.
Education: 4-year degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science
Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in the following areas:
- Chemistry: Roche Cobas 503c and 801e
- Osmolality: Advanced Osmo1
- Coagulation: Stago Sta-R Max
- Hematology: Sysmex XN 3000
- Sedimentation Rate: Alcor MiniiSed
- Urinalysis and Microscopics: Sysmex UN-3000
- COVID-19 Testing: Abbott ID-NOW
- Mono Testing: Sure-VU
- Flu and RSV Testing: Sofia
- hCG Testing: Quipid
- Occult Blood Testing: Quick Assay
- Blood Cultures: BacT/Alert
- Molecular Testing: Cepheid GeneXpert (C. Diff, CT/NG, MRSA nasal)
- Gram Stains and C. Diff Quick Chek Complete
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Proficiency in laboratory information systems
