  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description

The Security Installation Technician Lead is responsible for generating business by calling on customers and building relationships with them. The Security Installation Technician Lead needs to be familiar with the business activities and growth in their surrounding area and know which businesses should be contacted about potential work.

Job Description

Minimum of 3-years experience in commercial and industrial access, intrusion, intercom, or video systems.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Exceptional technical skills to install, service, inspect or troubleshoot security alarm and CCTV systems
  • Knowledge and hands-on work with computer hardware, software, and configuration of network systems
  • Create and maintain drawings and accurate documentation on installation paperwork for all systems
  • Ability to read prints/specs to quote projects and service work
  • Ability to obtain new customers and strengthen current customer relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple technicians and projects as needed
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide training and guidance as needed
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
  • Installation of necessary cable with ladder and lift requirements
  • Excellent customer service and client relations, including contractors and coworkers
  • Overtime available along with minimal overnight travel at times

RequirementsPreferred Qualifications

  • Minimum three years experience in security alarm system and CCTV installations/service/inspections
  • Valid driver s license with a good driving record
  • Additional electronic certifications highly recommended
