Job Description

As a remote school psychologist for Boise Independent School District, you'll be at the forefront of supporting student success in Idaho's capital city. Your expertise will help shape positive outes for our diverse student population in this rapidly growing tech hub.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct prehensive psychoeducational evaluations for Boise's K-12 students using virtual assessment tools
- Collaborate with Boise's educators to implement effective intervention strategies aligned with Idaho Core Standards
- Provide online counseling and support, addressing unique challenges faced by students in this urban-meets-outdoor environment
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans
- Offer guidance to Boise's teachers and parents on supporting student mental health and learning needs in a remote setting
- Stay informed about Idaho's educational policies and implement best practices in school psychology

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Idaho
- Experience with virtual assessment tools and telehealth platforms
- Strong understanding of Idaho's educational standards and special education laws
- Excellent munication skills, with the ability to build rapport in a virtual environment
- Proficiency in using educational software and virtual meeting platforms
