Saw Operator 2nd Shift

Position:

We are currently seeking a 2nd Shift Saw Operator at our South Chesterfield, VA location. The Saw Operator is responsible for cutting Raw-Stock of various metal materials to specifications

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Cut parts to specification.
• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Organize and inventory raw materials.
• Operate grinders.
• Maintain functionality and cleanliness of relevant equipment
• Work closely with fabrication team members.
• Work with the Service Manager on Service and Aftermarket related topics that require cutting on short notice.
• Follow established fabrication procedures and standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated ability to adjust speed and feed values for various materials.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring instruments e.g., tape measures (both metric and standard) and calipers.
• Ability to plan and organize work to maximize efficiency.
• Ability to determine the type, size, and shape of materials.
• Basic understanding of geometry concepts.
